19. Understanding Channels and Their Energy
You know those red, black, or red-and-black lines that connect one energy center to another in your Human Design chart? Those are channels, and that’s the focus of our episode.
Channels in Human Design create connectivity in the chart as a whole. And they each have their own unique themes, challenges, and modes of expression. They’re a very important (but more detailed) look at your energy.
You can tell a lot about your channel by where it’s positioned in your chart and what centers it connects. For example, a channel that connects to the throat shows you what you’re here to express. If you have a channel connecting your throat to your solar plexus, then you can express your emotions.
Channels can also be broken down into types – Generated, Manifested, or Projected (yes, just like the Human Design types they’re named after). Knowing which channels are which types is helpful – you’ll have a better understanding of how to harness and use that energy.
