56. A Deeper Look at the Root Center

Jan 29, 2020 | Human Design

When I posted about my struggles with my undefined root center on Instagram, I didn’t expect to get the wave of responses that I did. I was blown away with how many people related to my post – and by how many also commented and said they wanted to learn more about the root center.

I’ve already done an episode on Human Design pressure centers (episode 23, in case you’re wondering), so I thought I’d covered the root center. But I was wrong.

So in this episode, we’re focusing exclusively on the pressure + motor center at the bottom of the BodyGraph – the root center.

This little sucker is usually the source of a lot of pain, pressure, stress, and anxiety because many of us don’t know how to manage stress well – and because we also are feeling stress that isn’t even ours. Let that sink in. If you have an undefined root center, you’re feeling stress and pressure that may not be yours.

And you don’t need to process or hold onto other people’s stress. You need to release it. And we’ll talk about that in this episode.

We’ll cover

– What the root center is

– The energy present in the center and how it isn’t all bad…or all good

– The 2 ways of dealing with root center pressure

– Tips for living with an undefined root center
