95. Understanding Left and Right Variables

We’re diving into a topic that’s long been requested for the podcast: variables! This episode is a big-picture overview of what variables are. We’ll focus on the arrows themselves and whether they face left or right. (Yes, there are more layers to dive into – and we’ll do that in the next few episodes). for now, we’re building our information foundation so that we don’t drown when we move into the deeper water.
We’ll go through each arrow, talk about what it means for us and what the implications are if it’s left-facing or right-facing. I’ll also tie everything together at the end and explain why it’s important to start with the top left arrow and work your way around.
At the very end of the episode, we’ll venture into the substructure of the gates (which will come up again in the next few episodes). Ready to dive into variables? We’re skimming the surface to prepare for our deep dive!
