176. The Importance of Speaking Correctly
Episode Details
There is so much pressure in our society to just talk – to say anything – even if you have nothing to say. How are Projectors supposed to navigate a conversation and speak correctly? Is there even a hard-and-fast rule that we can follow? (Spoiler alert: Only if you consider “Follow your authority” a rule).
In this episode, we’ll talk about our society’s obsession with making noise and how we can begin to step back from the fray and observe it more. We’ll also cover how Projectors can speak correctly by following our strategy and authority. Though we’ll also look at the messy situations that don’t allow us to easily follow that suggestion (because sometimes life happens).
My challenge to you – and me – after this episode is to be ok with sitting in silence and to practice watching what is said. Mindful speaking is something that I’m reflecting on, and I invite you to join me in this experiment by listening to the episode.
